This H3KRS ‘long backup’ version uses an external 96V battery bank (8×12V) so runtime can be scaled for longer outages, which is perfect for our office environment. The adjustable charging current (up to 12A) and two‑/three‑stage charging keep the batteries healthy while still charging fast enough between outages. Even with extended backup, the UPS runs cool and the noise stays under about 45dB, which is acceptable for a server room.
